Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 6:5

Among the dead no one proclaims your name. Who praises you from the grave?

O-bservation:

Here King David makes a very enlightening statement concerning time. David says it runs out for all of us. Then he says when we’re dead we don’t praise the Lord from the grave. He also affirms a truism. The dead do not praise the Lord. Not only that, but dead folks don’t preach the Good News, ever.

A-pplication:

What makes me happy as I write this AM is, “There’s Still Time!” That’s right. If you’re reading this, it’s because you’re not dead. That ought to make you stop and shout “Thank You” to the Lord right NOW! Because you’re not dead, you can still praise the Lord! Why not give Him a short praise break right now? Also, if you’re not dead yet it means you have been given another day to proclaim the “Good News” of Jesus to those around you. Why not just pick out one person to give the Good News to today? But make sure you do it today. Don’t wait! None of us are promised tomorrow, but since we do have right now let’s use it to praise the Lord and proclaim the Good News to those around us! Start smiling and start doing because “There’s Still Time!”
