Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Luke 2:40

And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him.

O-bservation:

From birth till He was twelve years of age, the scripture tells us that Jesus grew STRONG, was filled with WISDOM, and that God’s GRACE was on Him.

A-pplication:

I was thinking this AM about “Youthful Desires.” I thought about little kids and what they long for. They want toys and food and friends and loving parents in most cases. However, right after this verse, Jesus’ parents took him to the Temple. It’s obvious that Jesus’ earthly parents instilled greater desires in their Son. I say this because Jesus grew STRONG in every way. He was filled with WISDOM. Nothing could be more needed today. And God’s GRACE was on Him. God’s GRACE means favor and favor gets you through life. These powerful life components came as a result of Jesus’ “Youthful Desires.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I ask this AM for my friend and I that you would help us have the same “Youthful Desires” You had as a child. Also, help the parents among us instill these desires in our children. Thank You! Amen
