You’re Never On Your Own

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Zechariah 4:6

So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.

O-bservation:

Zerubbabel was the governor of Judah after the Babylonian exile. It was under his direction that the temple was being rebuilt. It became such a mountain of a task for him that the Lord sent Zechariah the prophet to tell him, “‘It’s not by might or by power, but it’s by My Spirit,’ says the Lord.”

A-pplication:

Whatever mountain you’re facing today, the Lord wants you to know “You’re Never On Your Own!” In 1973, my wife Robyn and I were married. Since that time The Lord has been so good to us. BUT … the trials, the heartaches, the challenges have been at times Mountain-like. Just when we’d feel like we were finally there, another “Mountain” would appear. In those times, this passage has kept me. “It’s not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord.” Remember, it’s in those times that, just like Robyn and me, “You’re Never On Your Own!” Jesus is with you today. BTW … Happy Birthday Dear Robyn! My Love!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Today I thank You that in the most trying of times in my life I’ve never felt ALONE. In fact, I never felt I was on my own. Thank You for always being with me. Amen
