You Always Know Where Jesus Is

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Mark 16:19

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.

O-bservation:

This is the second to the last verse of the book of Mark. It took place after the resurrection, and after Jesus had told His disciples to take the gospel to all nations and peoples. Then He ascended into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

A-pplication:

If you are a believer, “You Always Know Where Jesus Is.” The scripture tells us He is in heaven seated at the right hand of God. The Bible also says He is always interceding for us like a lawyer does. Jesus pleads our case before the Father (Heb. 7:25). The reason this is necessary is because scripture also tells us that the devil is the “Accuser of God’s people here on earth” (Rev. 12:10). When the devil accuses us, Jesus pleads for us. But there is also a reminder that Jesus never leaves us alone either (Heb. 13:5). So when you’re wondering where Jesus is, remember, He’s with you but He’s also pleading Your case before His Father in heaven, where He is sitting at the Father’s right hand. “You Always Know Where Jesus Is.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Thank You that You have left specific instructions as to where You are at all times. Most of all I’m glad You’re with me. Amen
