Who Built Your Place?

S. O. A. P.

Hebrews 3:4

For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.

O-bservation:

In the verse leading up to this passage, the Apostle writes that the builder of any house has greater honor than the house itself. Now he says every house has a builder, but GOD is the builder of EVERYTHING!

A-pplication:

During our lives together, my wife and I have built ONE home from scratch. I should say, my friend was the REAL builder. We both loved that house, but to be honest with you I always loved my friend who built the house more than I did the actual house. When we moved here to Miami several decades ago, it was sold. But I’m still friends with the builder. However, that’s not what this post is about this AM. What I’m thankful for is that JESUS is the builder of EVERYTHING! A person who’s living in a shack is really living inside a masterpiece built by God. Not the shack, but their body. Whatever your surroundings today, remember your body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit, built by Jesus. Whenever someone asks you, “Who Built Your Place,” just say … “You’re looking at a mansion built by JESUS!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for the Temple (my body) that You built for me to live in. Even more important to me is that You’re the builder of EVERYTHING. I honor You as the Master Builder. Amen
