When Leaders Cry For Help

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 74:21

Do not let the oppressed retreat in disgrace; may the poor and needy praise your name.

O-bservation:

The Psalmist saw a day when Zion would fall to the Babylonians and he cried to God. He said when that day comes don’t let us retreat in disgrace. Give us strength to praise You in the tough times.

A-pplication:

Every leader knows that good times never last and bad times don’t either. Whatever time you may be experiencing now, cry to God in preparation for what you know is coming. The power of leadership is to have a firm sense of what’s coming. “When Leaders Cry for Help,” most likely they’ve seen the future. When they cry to God, you can bank on this fact: Their future will be better.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

You must think I’m always crying to You for help. But really, where else can I go? You alone have the words of eternal life. Amen
