Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Exodus 39:43
Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done it just as the Lord had commanded. So Moses blessed them.
O-bservation:
It is said that the building of the mobile Tabernacle in the wilderness probably took about six months. When the people finished their part, it then had to be assembled. But, when the people finished and Moses checked it out, the scripture says he BLESSED them.
A-pplication:
One thing that is clear from this story is “The Blessing Comes When You FINISH The Job.” We live in a world where so many believe they are entitled to a blessing simply because they breathe. However, scripture is quick to qualify the “Blessing of the Lord.” Certainly we are all blessed because the sun shines, but not too hot, and when it goes dark at the end of the day we don’t freeze to death. That’s a blessing. For some, there’s a blessing based upon where they are born, and to whom they are born. But, the greatest blessings in this life are achieved through hard work. Whether you like it or not, it’s Bible, “The Blessing Comes When You Finish The Job.”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I’ve lived the victory side and the losing side of this truth. Please help me keep winning. Amen
