Take Courage

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Acts 23:11

The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”

O-bservation:

The Lord was letting St. Paul know that he had the way ahead prepared for him. BUT … he would have to “Take Courage” in order to see God’s plan fulfilled.

A-pplication:

If you continue to read the text, you will see that an evil plot had been set for Paul’s demise. But it was thwarted but God’s grace. Here’s the deal, God has a tremendous plan for each of us. Yet it will be required of all of us that we “Take Courage” to see it through. We’re not robots. We have a will and a decision is required in order for us to win. You can float with the waves or you can “Take Courage” and swim against the tide in order to see God’s plan come to pass. The Lord has never said this will be a cakewalk. It’s going to cost us something so … “Take Courage!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m ready this AM. I know there are major challenges ahead, but with Your help I will “Take Courage.” Amen
