Blessings And Prosperity
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 128:1-2 Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.O-bservation:
This passage is loaded with a pledge from Jesus to you and me. However, like always, God's promises are conditional. All through Scripture we see the Lord saying to His people, "If you will do this, then I'll do this." In this case the Lord says, "I'll bless you and prosper you if you will respect and fully obey Me with all of your heart everyday."A-pplication:
Who wouldn't rather be blessed instead of broken, and who wouldn't rather have all their needs met instead of begging for help? As a parent, there was never a second in my life when I hoped my children would live beggarly lives or be broken as a result of poor choices. NEVER!! God is so much more a Loving and Doting Father than I ever hoped to be. Yet God tells us there are conditions. Those conditions include respecting and obeying God fully, every day, in order to be Blessed and Prospered. So in the final analysis, our Blessing and our Prosperity is linked to our HEART. God always asks ... "What will YOUR choice be?" For me, it will always be … "Blessings and Prosperity." And yes, I know the conditions!P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, You know my choice this AM. Please give me strength to keep my end of the deal up. Love You! Amen

The Prophet, Priest, and King
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 110:4 The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: “You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.”O-bservation:
Through the lips of His servant, King David, The Lord speaks of Jesus, the future "Prophet, Priest, and King."A-pplication:
This is a wonderful verse inasmuch as God is speaking of His Son, Jesus, but through the lips of King David, Jesus' great grandfather 14 generations removed! Surely great grandfather David represented a prophet and a king, but here Father God says of Jesus that not only will He be a prophet and a king, He will also be a priest. However this prophet, priest, and king is like no other. Jesus doesn't just have an occasional "Word" about the future; He in fact knows every detail concerning the future. Jesus isn't just a king; He is the "King of Kings" for all time! Unlike ancient priests, Jesus doesn't take a lamb and slay it for the remission of one's sin; NO, He is the eternal "Lamb of God," slain for all of humankind's sin! Jesus is able to cleanse every person's sin as the "Priest of Heaven." If you are burdened down in any way today, take your burden to ... "The Prophet, Priest, and King"—JESUS!P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, I thank You that You are altogether Amazing! I thank You, that in You, every need of my life is met in every way today. Amen

Your Name Is Near
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 75:1 We praise you, God, we praise you, for your Name is near; people tell of your wonderful deeds.O-bservation:
The King of Israel, David, is caught up in a moment of gratitude to God. When it relates to God Almighty, gratitude toward Him is always followed by our praise for Him. But David said what all true believers think when they're in trouble, "Your Name Is Near." As in ... "Jesus help me."A-pplication:
Whenever a "Follower of Jesus" is in a time of real peril or deep stress, they usually think or say ... "Oh Jesus Help Me!" There are different variations of that phrase, like God help me or Lord get me outta this, but they all boil down to the fact that His name is always NEAR. That's probably because He Himself is right here with me. He has promised to never leave me nor forsake me (Deut. 31:6b). Since I'm aware that Jesus is always right here with me, it means "His Name is Near." I can call on His name with a simple whisper because He's here with me right now ... "Jesus." King David also said, "His praise shall continually be in my mouth" (Psalm 34:1b). When trouble comes, don't curse His name as if He caused it; instead, praise His name because He can get you out of it. Thank you Jesus ... "Your Name Is Near."P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, I'm so thankful this AM that I just have to praise You. "Your Name Is Near." I don't have time to call on or praise another. I will praise You alone. Amen
