Watch Me!

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Titus 2:7a In everything set them an example by doing what is good.O-bservation:
In addressing one of his young associates, the Apostle Paul told Titus that he was to be an example or role model for young men and women. He was to accomplish this by doing what is GOOD.A-pplication:
Being a role model for young adults is not an easy task. We must first believe that others are watching what we do and how we do it. Not only are our actions important, our words are just as important. What we present by way of our words is being listened to. There's a great need not only in the world, but also within the "Body of Jesus Followers," that we CLEAN IT UP! I hear young adults say … I hear you "Talk the Talk," but can you "Walk the Walk?" Paul, the writer here, had earlier said to the church at Corinth, "Follow me as I follow Christ" (1 Cor. 11:1). In other words, Paul was saying "Don't just listen to what I say, watch what I do!" He was putting himself out there. He was being a role model for young adults. Paul proved that not only could he "Talk the Talk,” he could also "Walk the Walk." I trust you're ready to join the Apostle today and say to the young adults around you, "Watch Me!"P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, Today it is my earnest prayer that I could humbly say to young adults, "Watch Me!" I know You are calling my generation to "Clean It Up" in word and deed. Help me lead the way. Amen

Happy GOOD Year!
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Genesis 1:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.O-bservation:
This verse ends the account of how God created the heavens and the earth and the different types of creation needed to sustain animals and human life, as well as creating each. After each time The Lord created something new, He said it was "GOOD." On the sixth and final day of creation, God made man and said it was, "Very Good!"A-pplication:
It's quite obvious when you look at the creation account and everything God made that MAN was His favorite of all He had created. Man was God's "Big Risk." Why? Because God made man in His own image, with all of the characteristics of God but in a limited way. And with all of those divine characteristics, God gave man a "WILL." God gave us the ability to say NO to Him. He gave us the ability to yield to Him, or reject Him fully. God made everything perfect in hopes that it would remain that way, if only for a few days. But ... He KNEW the future. In time, things became so unruly that man's only salvation came through the death and resurrection of God's one and only Son, Jesus. Because of Jesus, this first day of the year can be All Good! In fact, why limit it to just one day? "Happy GOOD Year!"P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, Thank You that You made things GOOD for all humankind! Thank You that because You love me, I can look forward to a "Happy GOOD Year!" Amen

Jesus = GOOD All The Time
S. O. A. P
Here's your 90 second AM devotional!S-cripture:
Psalm 100:5 For The Lord is Good and His love endures forever; His Faithfulness continues through all generations.O-bservation:
There are no questions left about this very definitive statement. The facts are: "Jesus = GOOD All The Time." His love is forever enduring. And His faithfulness is like a constant, unbending thread, stretching through every generation of past or future world history.A-pplication:
What are you unsure of today? Let's talk about that. Will my health remain? Will my friends stay true? Is my family going to be okay? Is my job secure? Will the government stay intact? Will my money outlast my living? I could fill several more pages with questions that all of us have about life and the future. Things that we're just not sure of. But what can we be sure of today? Well, when other’s love fails, God’s love endures for however long you and I are breathing. When others walk out on us, God’s faithfulness demands that He stay. And of course when all of the good people we know have at some point or another been guilty of "Breaking Bad" once in a while ... "Jesus = GOOD All The Time."
