I DO Remember
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Job 38:4 Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand.O-bservation:
Upon the completion of Job's long discussion with his friends, The Almighty stepped into the conversation. He asked a question that forever interrupts man's complaining, pontificating, theorizing, questioning, and from a distance even gesticulating. God asked, "Where were you when I started all of this? Do you remember?"A-pplication:
Eventually every man and every woman who lacks faith, or should I say is ruled by Doubt and Fear, has to ask themselves, "Where was I when it all began?" Because the truth is Somebody began this intelligent design. Wherever you are on the subject of creationism, evolution, or the separation of the days of creation, everyone suggests a different age for the earth. The simple fact that you can put an age on it suggests that there was a beginning to it. So ... "Where were you when it all began?" If you're like me, you say "I can't remember" or "I wasn't even born yet." That's why Billions of us on this earth have chosen FAITH. Even more specifically, Billions of us have chosen Jesus as the originator of it all. "I DO Remember" the day He saved me by His Grace. That's definitely something ... "I DO Remember!"P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, Thank You this AM that the memory of Your saving grace has never left my conscious memory or my soul. "I DO Remember!" Amen

He Is “THE” Sovereign God
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Job 34:10 So listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do evil, from the Almighty to do wrong.O-bservation:
This word was spoken by one of Job's friends, but it could have been said by every man and woman mentioned in the Bible. The statement is made to people who believe they have understanding. "It is impossible for God to do evil or wrong of any kind."A-pplication:
Why is this statement FACTUAL? First of all, some of the arguments to the statement go somewhat like this ... "How could a loving God allow suffering and disease and sexual abuse of children and genocide in certain places on earth? How could a God who loves people tell His leaders in the Old Testament when facing certain enemies to kill them all (i.e. Num. 25:4). The answer to these and a myriad of other such arguments is simply because ... He Is “THE” Sovereign God. But ... He's not "SOVEREIGN" like an earthly monarch or Caesar or a demagogue of any sort. No! He is "SOVEREIGN" as seen in the Hubble Space Telescope's discoveries of the galaxy. He is "SOVEREIGN" in His origination of the Human Cell! That kind of "SOVEREIGN" is always right, and if He says He cannot be ACCUSED of wrong then He's right. It starts with we people of "Understanding" yielding to our God. For ... "He Is 'THE' Sovereign God!"P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, This AM I am thankful that You are my SOVEREIGN God! That's why I know it will be a great day! Amen

Pursue Peace
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 120:7 I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.O-bservation:
The Lord called King David a man after His own heart. We know Scripture tells us that "God Is Love." Obviously God is against war. And obviously David, being of the same heart, was not driven to war either. But here King David lamented that the more he spoke of peace with other countries, the more their leaders spoke of war.A-pplication:
When a man or woman is wholeheartedly committed to the Lord, a "Sense of PEACE" sets in. The idea of fighting becomes a thing of the past. The challenge then comes from others who refuse to embrace Jesus. They perceive something in the life of the Believer that they think they want. Instead of following the Lord and finding the same peace, the spirit of war rises up within them to take what we have. However, any material gain we may have accrued is a result of the "Inner Peace" we have found in Jesus. When men and women refuse to ... "Pursue Peace," and instead "Promote War," they become all the more frustrated. Until one is willing to acknowledge a need for inner peace through Jesus, he or she will continue to "Pursue WAR." Whatever "THEY DO," we must ... "Pursue Peace."P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, Today I will, with Your help ... "Pursue Peace!" War is too expensive! Amen
