Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Daniel 12:10

Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

O-bservation:

In the conclusion of Daniel’s vision, the Lord speaks to Daniel concerning the end of time. He said many will gain wisdom and turn to the Lord, but the wicked will remain wicked until the end.

A-pplication:

If you search Google for the word “wicked,” you will find that it means “Evil” and “Morally wrong.” There’s a lot of discussion in our schools on values clarification and whether people who are “evil” can help being that way. Consequently, can anyone really be “Evil?” The Lord did not take the time to explain it to Daniel because evidently Daniel got it and recorded it for us. When I see the line that says “The wicked will continue to be wicked,” I can’t help but think of that Forrest Gump line … “Stupid Is As Stupid Does.” Here’s the deal, we aren’t animals; we have a choice. There’s no reason to keep going with evil. There’s every opportunity to get wisdom and go with God! The challenge is that Forrest Gump line.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I settled that challenge a long time ago. I desire Wisdom over Evil. Once again, I need Your help. Amen
