Singing And Praising

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

2 Chronicles 20:22

As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

O-bservation:

On this occasion, King Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah were seriously outnumbered. After the nation came together to pray, it was determined that they should face their enemies “Singing and Praising” the Lord. Then God defeated all of their enemies while basking in the “Singing and Praising” of His people.

A-pplication:

Instead of worrying about tomorrow, or the enemies that lie waiting for you, wouldn’t it be better to be found “Singing and Praising” Jesus instead? There is no end to the goodness and grace and power of our great God. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has not changed. The same God that defeated Jehoshaphat’s enemies back then is the same God we serve today. I suggest you face your challenge today “Singing and Praising” the Lord.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM I have decided that I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever! Amen
