Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 76:7a
It is you alone who are to be feared.
O-bservation:
King David had lived long enough to realize that there was only one person in the universe to be feared. That person was God Almighty.
A-pplication:
Just answer a simple question this AM. “Seriously, Who Do You Fear?” When you look at the life of David, you could safely say he didn’t fear man, including giants. He didn’t fear bears or lions. He didn’t fear living alone in dark caves, or in open fields under the stars. HOWEVER … there was ONE he feared completely. His name is JESUS! Perhaps as you read this SOAP you’re thinking, “I’ve got FEARS!” (plural) But I want to say, if you will change all those plural fears into just one FEAR, you’ll never be afraid! So this AM, put all your hope, desire, longing, and holy Fear in Jesus. “Seriously, Who Do You Fear?”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
You’re the ONE I love, hope, trust, and FEAR! Amen
