Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

2 Peter 3:3

Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.

O-bservation:

St. Peter gives a strong warning to all “Followers Of Jesus” who look for signs of the Lord’s soon return. He said that in the last days “SCOFFERS” will come.  Most of all, he said they would follow their own EVIL DESIRES.

A-pplication:

Someone who is bound by evil desire is hoping judgment is not around THEIR corner. Instead of repenting before the Lord, often they will turn toward a spirit of SCOFFING, which means they end up mocking the very One who gave His life to save them. The world of the SCOFFER gets smaller and smaller because even non-believers fear the extent to which some of these SCOFFERS mock the living God. Once an individual submits themselves to their evil desires, what used to be a simple mockery of a friend who is a “Believer,” in time becomes an all out attack on God Almighty. Right here, one of Jesus’ closest friends on earth, Peter, says … “They will ask where is the promise of His coming?” SCOFFERS beware! Jesus is coming soon!!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, I kneel in holy awe, reverence, and honor of You, my God. My days of “Scoffing” are so far gone, I can’t remember them. Amen
