Remember To Always Bless Your Own Family

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

1 Chronicles 16:43

Then all the people left, each for their own home, and David returned home to bless his family.

King David had recovered the Ark of the Lord and brought it to the city of Jerusalem and established it. He asked his chief psalmist and minister, Asaph, and his associates to minister there. After everything was established concerning the worship of the Lord, David had all the people return to their own homes and he went home and blessed his own family.

Let’s lay aside any future failure of this King and be reminded of the fact that David had a heart to bless his own family. I know so many people who are so completely mesmerized by their mission that they forget the biggest part of their mission. That being, to bless THEIR OWN FAMILY. No matter what great opportunity may come to you in the future, or one that may be staring you in the face right now, at the end of the day “Remember To Always Bless Your Own Family!”

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for the best gift I’ve ever received in my life! My wonderful family. Help me to always bless them. Amen

Amen. We profit 0 if we bless the whole world while our own family suffers from lack of the blessings that God pours into us to pour into others.
