Pour Out Your Heart To Jesus

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 62:8

Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.

O-bservation:

King David, in a moment of adoration for his great God, opens his own heart toward his people. He implores them to pour their hearts out to the Lord. For He is our HOPE!

A-pplication:

Have you ever been with an individual, or even a small group of people who were overwhelmed with life’s challenges? You ponder their situation and you know what they need, but they’re not on your same wavelength. Because of that, you hesitate to say what you would say to your own friends and family, which is … “Pour Out Your Heart To Jesus!” To pour your heart out is to empty yourself of your deepest concerns. David was a man after God’s own heart, who on many occasions had done what he was asking his constituents to do because it works. There’s only one person in the universe you can really empty yourself of all your concerns to and be safe, and His name is Jesus.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Here I am again this AM, pouring my heart out to You! It’s what keeps me going! Amen
