No Ordinary Child

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

Hebrews 11:23

By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.

The Pharaoh of Egypt had put out an edict at the time of Moses’ birth that all Hebrew boys under the age of eighteen months must be slaughtered. Moses, as a newborn Hebrew baby, should have been one of the first to die. BUT, his parents saw he was “No Ordinary Child.” His life was spared, and in time God promoted him to be the greatest leader the world has ever known, save Jesus Christ.

Take note this AM my friend, that child living under your roof today is “No Ordinary Child.” I felt impressed to tell you that. It’s time to be looking out of your bedroom window to the apartment you really like, or that car you wish you had, or the child that’s better than your child! But wait, did you hear that this AM? That child of yours in your house this AM is … “No Ordinary Child.” Don’t let another demon from hell try to tell you he or she is not special or they aren’t Extraordinary. God has made them to lead people out of their bondage and into their Victory, starting today! Today, thank God for that girl. Thank God for your son. I’ve got news for you … they really are, “No Ordinary Children!”

Dear Jesus,

Thank You, Lord Jesus, that I’ve never been accused of being lazy. I haven’t raised any either. But today, dear Jesus, thank you for reminding me that you have turned our ordinary into Your extraordinary. Amen
