Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

1 Corinthians 10:33b

For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.

O-bservation:

It was St. Paul’s desire to serve himself into the grave on behalf of others. That’s the only way the Church of Jesus Christ prevails. Here he says, “I’m not asking anything for me but for you, so that for sure you and everyone else will know Jesus.”

A-pplication:

Now that I am a “Follower of Jesus,” there’s someone who is far “More Important Than Me.” Of course Jesus is my all in all, but here on this earth You are more important than me. Everyone you represent is more important than me. For the believer, our mission is that everyone comes to know our blessed Savior. Everything Jesus taught was about the building of His Kingdom. His Kingdom boils down to people. Since He made everything, and more importantly everyone, He longs that everyone choose Him and join His Kingdom. The difference between His Kingdom and the USA, or the United Kingdom, or the European Union is that His Kingdom will last forever! So in order to continue Jesus’ mission, people are always “More Important Than Me.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM I’m so thankful that You chose me over You when You went to the cross for me. With You as my leader help me to always choose people over me. Amen
