Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Revelation 22:17

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

O-bservation:

The Apostle John closes out the great Revelation by inviting all people to come to Jesus. But the invitation is from the Holy Spirit, the Church here on earth, and anyone who has already believed. All three entities mentioned are inviting the entire world to Jesus with arms wide open!

A-pplication:

We mortals are a competitive bunch. I can still remember someone saying when I was younger, “You’ve been invited to a party.” I’d ask, “Who’s inviting me?” Depending on who the invitation came from, I made my decision. Some parties were lousy, some were criminal, and some were flat out fun. You could judge them by who was hosting them. When the Holy Spirit, the Church (the Bride of Christ here on earth), and people who are already “Followers of Jesus” are doing the asking, you can know what you’re being invited to is beyond great.

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

As I hear the news reports on a daily basis, and through my study of Holy Scripture, I’m believing Your return is just around the corner, if not today. Help me ASK people today, with everything that’s in me, to join our party. Amen
