Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.
Micah, like Amos, was a country prophet. His other contemporaries included Isaiah and Hosea. The latter two were more urban than Micah, but Micah abhorred the sin he witnessed on his travels into Jerusalem. He wrote against the sin of Israel and Judah. However, as he wrapped up his book of prophesies, he said that our God pardons sin like no other. In fact, He doesn’t stay angry and finds pleasure in offering MERCY.
For those who may be reading this AM Devo and have never met the Lord, “Welcome To Jesus!” One of the greatest things I can say about my wonderful Lord is that “Jesus Is Our MERCY Man.” Whatever you have done in your life that seems to you to be not only regrettable but unforgivable, think again. I’ve got great news for you. Jesus doesn’t stay angry long, and is longing to show you mercy today. Whatever you’ve done, whatever you’re thinking about yourself, change your mind. Jesus stands ready to forgive you, love you, and wrap His arms of eternal life around you. “Jesus Is Our MERCY Man!”
All I can say this AM is … Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! Amen
