Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Luke 8:46
But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.”
O-bservation:
Jesus was in what could be called a “PRESS” of people when this event occurred. People were everywhere, clambering to get to Him. He asked, “Who touched me? I know someone touched me.” His disciples said, “What are You talking about, everyone is touching You?” But sure enough, a woman with an issue of blood had touched Him.
A-pplication:
The power of this passage is that “Jesus Never Misses Even ONE.” In a world where so many are left at the side of the road, begging or thrown under the bus by the rich and powerful, that can never be said of Jesus. The biggest to the absolute, most insignificant in society’s eyes are never forgotten by the Lord. Not even ONE! A woman rejected by society, with a continual bleeding problem, was found unclean for twelve years by friends and family. She was considered dirt in her world. Left alone, she had lost all hope until Jesus came to town. She ventured into the “PRESS” that day, and when she touched Him He noticed. Because “Jesus Never Misses Even ONE.” If you feel like that ONE today, reach out and touch Him.
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I know I’m ONE of many this AM, but I’ll always reach to touch YOU. Amen
