S-cripture:

Leviticus 20:7

Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the Lord your God.

O-bservation:

The book of Leviticus is filled with intricate laws as to how the people of Israel were to conduct their lives. Here the Lord tells them, “lt’s Time For Consecration,” NOW.

A-pplication:

Thankfully we are living in the New Covenant of grace. Yet not for one second does the Lord look upon us and say, “Go ahead, live like the devil himself, I’ve got you!” No! Instead, just like in the Old Covenant, He is telling us today, “I want you to live a holy life. A life that is separated from sin and given unto me with your whole heart.” As you feel what is happening in a world gone mad, our only option should be to run to Jesus with everything that’s in us. “It’s Time For Consecration.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM I almost feel like the men of old who would dress in sack cloth and ashes to humble themselves. I want You more than ever. With Your help, I CONSECRATE myself anew to You today. Amen
