In Celebration Of WEAKNESS

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

2 Corinthians 12:10

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

O-bservation:

Earlier, St. Paul had discussed a previous hardship he had faced. The Lord told him that His grace was sufficient to see him through it. The Apostle decided that because of God’s grace in his life he would choose to speak “In Celebration of WEAKNESS.”

A-pplication:

Paul had plenty to boast about as a “Follower of Jesus.” In fact, he did some of that in the previous chapter of this book. Yet even though he was just in defending his Apostolic authority, he soon learned another Christian principle. When we are tempted so as to reveal our human nature of yielding to said temptation. In that moment of WEAKNESS, God shows up and we’re then reminded that those of us on the Lord’s side will win. Even if it’s just You and Me! So since this passage of Scripture is promoted today, make sure you never get into that “Poor Me” mentality. If you’ll keep on supporting God’s Word, in time you will reach a viral impact throughout the world of evangelism. What’s more important, yelling and pointing fingers at others you disagree with, or passionately pursuing the Gospel and its great leader, our Lord and Savior? For me, it’s Always about the Savior and that’s why I will always testify “In Celebration of WEAKNESS!!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I know this: when I am WEAK You are strong. Because of that, I will praise You “In Celebration of WEAKNESS.” Amen
