Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Job 13:15a
Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him.
O-bservation:
Job was far from being out of his “Woods of Despair” when he proclaimed that even if God were to kill him, “I’ll Always Follow Jesus.”
A-pplication:
I’m not sure if everyone reading this has ever faced a trying situation. But if you have, in time there comes a point where you just have to throw down the gauntlet. You can’t ride the fence with one foot in the boat and one on the dock anymore. No! There comes a point where it’s time to use the kind of line Job stated. Let me say it in a more contemporary way … “I’ll Always Follow Jesus!” Nothing will deter me again. No evil influence. No family influence. No compromising influence of any kind will ever come between me and my Redeemer. What I’m trying to say is … “I’ll Always Follow Jesus!”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
This AM I’m fired up. I mean if a man who was as tried by fire as Job could say what he did, then let me say it again. “I’ll Always Follow Jesus!” Amen
