God’s BIG View

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

2 Chronicles 16:9a

For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

O-bservation:

The previous chapter and this one tell us about the wonderful reforms that were made under the leadership of King Asa of Judah. However, toward the end of his reign he paid another King to fight the 10 Northern Tribes of Israel. This displeased the Lord, and God let him know that His eyes are always watching for those who are totally committed to Him.

A-pplication:

Has there ever been a time in your life when God did every miracle imaginable, but at some point you felt like you needed extra help? That’s what happened to Asa. He forgot that God wasn’t like him, with a small view of life and people. He forgot about … “God’s BIG View.” Remember, God spoke the world into existence. Certainly any mountain you’re faced with is minuscule by comparison. Yet there comes a point, if we’re not careful, that we walk away from our miracle-working “Big View God” and trust a group of “HUMANS” to get us over the next hump. I say this … “If the Lord has provided for you to this point, why not trust him through to the final point?” He’s got the whole world in His sights. That’s why we call it … “God’s BIG View.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, I’m leaving my place with new energy. I’m reminded that You have an unlimited view of this planet and the challenges I face. So … I’m trusting You to see me through! Amen
