Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
The writer makes a direct plea to Believers everywhere not to lose or waste one day on earth. The best way to save days is by encouraging one another. If there’s no encouragement, it leaves one with a HARD HEART.
Recently I watched a video of a man interviewing another leader and promising the viewers it wouldn’t go over ten minutes. After it was over, in the comments section below, the first person responding was quick to let everyone know that it had gone ten minutes and thirteen seconds because at the end the producers had put the website up. It was a very inspiring interview, but the viewer was looking to time the interview instead of learn from the interview. Immediately I thought he could have softened his heart and encouraged the folks who did the interview. Instead he criticized them. The writer of Hebrews said that’s what makes HARD HEARTS. When it comes to responding to those around us, we must remember … “Get Soft.”
Help me keep my Heart Soft by encouraging those around me today. Amen
