Experiencing Answered Prayer

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Luke 11:10

For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

O-bservation:

Jesus taught His disciples the principles of “Experiencing Answered Prayer.” He said earlier that it was necessary to ask in order to receive, to seek in order to find, and in order to have the door open one has to first of all knock.

A-pplication:

How many times have you wished for something instead of asking? Or maybe you wanted to find what you weren’t willing to look for. You certainly can’t walk up to someone’s door and hope that it will open without knocking. Jesus taught that actions precede answered prayer. But there’s one more principle to “Experiencing Answered Prayer.” Jesus taught in verse 8 about being PERSISTENT in asking. Persistence, Jesus said, will surely pay dividends in this Holy process. Anyone who is willing to Persistently ask will receive. Those who Persistently seek will find, and those who Persistently knock will have the door opened for them. These are your keys for “Experiencing Answered Prayer.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM I’m coming to You with a PERSISTENT desire for answered prayer. I’ll ask, seek, and knock until the answer comes. Amen
