When Impossibilities Become Realities

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Esther 2:17

Now the king was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women, and she won his favor and approval more than any of the other virgins. So he set a royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.

O-bservation:

Esther was a Jewish young woman living in Persia. The king of Persia banished Vashti and took her crown for disobedience against him, and then he sought a new queen. The one he chose from the young women who had been in training for the potential position was Esther, a Jew. Against all odds, Esther’s is the perfect story to illustrate “When Impossibilities Become Realities!”

A-pplication:

That’s only the beginning of the story. After attaining her crown, a wicked associate to the king, Haman, enticed the king to sign an edict to eradicate all the Jews living in the kingdom because of his disdain for Esther’s uncle, Mordecai. Esther decided to go before the king, though uninvited, and risk her life to save her people. It worked! Haman and his family were destroyed, and the very day the Jews were to be killed, the Jewish people’s enemies were done away with by the Jewish people instead! What are you facing that appears to be an IMPOSSIBILITY? Just as God did the impossible for Esther and her people, He is ready to do it for you too. He’s the only One to call on to make another example of “When Impossibilities Become Realties.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, I’m facing another IMPOSSIBILITY! I’m asking you to turn my IMPOSSIBILITY into a REALITY. You’ve done it so many times before for me. Please, Lord, do it again. Amen
