REVELATION
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Matthew 16:16
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
O-bservation:
While speaking with His own disciples one day, Jesus asked them, “Who do people say I am?” Different ones answered, and then Jesus said, “Yes, but who do YOU say I am?” Peter said, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus blessed him for saying that, because He told him that divine REVELATION, had come to him for him to say it.
A-pplication:
The REVELATION that came to Peter by the Almighty is what prompted Peter into dynamic leadership in the Early Church. Until REVELATION from God comes to any of us, we are not of much use to the Lord. I say that because we can do good things as information comes to us by way of other humans, but only when divine REVELATION comes our way are we truly separated unto the Lord for great things. Recently I was in London for a meeting with some dear Muslim friends. We had hours alone to discuss the things of God and faith. I don’t know many Christians who appreciate the works of our Lord like these two brothers. However, they do not believe He is God. I’ve talked with them about it until I’m weary of trying to convince them. I’ve decided the only way they can believe is through divine REVELATION. Today, if you have been blessed with this divine work in your own life, pray that His REVELATION will come to your friends.
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I’m grateful this AM that You revealed Yourself to me at a young age. It has helped me share the Good News I have with countless thousands of people. Many have received their own REVELATION because of it. Amen

Amen! I pray that the little ones, today, can have their revelation, in spite of the new wave of internet disclaims of Christianity that they are bombarded with!
