Please Do Not Despair, Jesus Is Always There

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

Daniel 7:13

In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.

Here Daniel recounts a vision he had about the end of our present days as humanity on earth. Daniel actually forecasts what John the Beloved would see visions of in the future, as stated in the Revelation. What he saw was Jesus coming into the presence of Almighty God and receiving His authority to rule the nations.

From the book of Genesis through to the end of the Revelation, Jesus is always there. He was the plan of salvation before the foundation of the world was laid (Rev. 13:8). It’s important as “Followers Of Jesus” that we believe that thoroughly because He is there right now. He’s there to meet our every need. Whether it has to do with the challenge of how to reach out to a wayward daughter or care for an invalid mother, Jesus is there for you. He’s there when you don’t think He is. He’s there when you can’t feel His presence. He’s there when others mock you for serving Him. When you feel like you’re literally sinking, he’s the rock you and I can cling to. At the beginning, He was there, and He lived before the beginning of what we call the world, and He will be there long after this world is no more. To assure you this AM, I want to say, “Do Not Despair, Jesus Is Always There.”

Dear Jesus,

I’m so grateful that You are always there. But for me, in the situation that I find myself this AM, I’m especially thankful that You are HERE with me right now. Amen
