How Can I SERVE You?
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.O-bservation:
As the writer of Hebrews addressed the Jewish Christians living in Jerusalem at that time, he also addresses us in our time. He said we should always be considering new ways and strategies to encourage each other in how to love others better and do even more than we're already doing for the work of the Lord.A-pplication:
The GRACE we have received through faith, in order to be saved, demands a loving response from all true Believers. The day in which we live requires every "Jesus Follower" to GIVE more, DO more, and LOVE more than we ever have before. The reason is because so many still have never heard or seen the gospel of Jesus delivered to them. When I think of the word "SPUR," I think of a cowboy with spurs on his boots used to kick a horse to run faster. In my opinion this is a unique word the writer used to emphasize the urgency we "Followers of Jesus" are called to live by. Nothing should be done haphazardly, or with an "it can wait until another time" type approach. When it comes to helping people and doing all we can for Jesus, it must be done wholeheartedly. Upon awakening each morning, every radical "Jesus Follower" should feel the spur in his or her backside that says, “lets go all out for our King again today.” Nothing can be held in reserve, nothing can hinder us, and nothing can separate us from our "Driven Need" to look our fellow man in the face and always say ... "How Can I SERVE You?"P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, This AM as I read the scripture I really only have one response ... "How Can I SERVE You Today My Lord?" Amen

The Lord Will Remember Me
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Hebrews 6:10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.O-bservation:
Most Bible theologians believe the book of Hebrews was written to Jewish Christians living in Jerusalem. No one knows the author for sure, but many attribute its writing to the Apostle Paul. The writer tells his readers that God is fair and He sees what You have done on His behalf, by helping His people, and that you continue to do so. He encouraged the people to never forget ... "The Lord Will Remember You."A-pplication:
I watch faithful people in the church I'm a part of each week. So many of them are never recognized or applauded in any way. However, it's evident to me that they have certainly read this verse before. Their whole life operates on this thought ... "The Lord Will Remember Me." Without a huge and loyal "Servant Leader" team worldwide, who are all radical "Followers of Jesus," there is no chance the Gospel goes anywhere. However, for all of us who follow Jesus, live for Him, and serve His purposes, all we care about is that HE indeed sees us. Not only that, we also know, "The Lord Will Remember Me." With that said, I encourage you today, no matter who else is watching you, to do it all for Jesus. He will never forget the kindness with which you serve His people here on earth.P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, It's on my heart to say it this AM, so I'm going to say it. Sometimes it's just hard! But ... I know You are with me and You've got me. Because of that, I won't quit. Amen

He Already Saw That
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Hebrews 4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.O-bservation:
The writer of the Book of Hebrews, up until this point in the book, declared that Jesus is greater than Moses and the holy angels. He also declared that every man and woman who is a "Follower of Jesus" must incorporate a Sabbath Rest-Day into their weekly routine. At this point, the writer stopped everything and said, "Nothing is covered before the Almighty. Everything is laid bare in His sight.” Even when one believes he or she has slipped something past the Lord, "He Already Saw That!"A-pplication:
As a little boy, I was taught early on by other kids on the block to play "Hide and Seek." Somehow, the idea of HIDING from someone in a game, as children, or from someone in real authority, as adults, is appealing at any age. We hide stuff, we hide information, and we even hide dirty laundry. However, with God there is no "Hide and Seek." We can try and hide, but He Knows! In fact, "He Already Saw That." In the preceding verse (12b), the scripture says that God's Word ... "Judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart." So before the act of physically trying to hide something from Jesus even happens, Jesus is already looking at the motives of our heart. There's no hiding from Jesus, because ... "He Already Saw That!"P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, Wow! Sometimes I forget that whatever I do, “You Already Saw That" before it even happened! This AM, I am indebted to You for forgiving me anyway, in every way, everyday! Amen
