ME TOO LORD!

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Isaiah 6:8

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

O-bservation:

This is the classic verse where Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord calling him. The Lord asked, “Who will answer my call?” Immediately Isaiah responded, “Here am I Lord. Send me!” The power of this brief vision and calling of Isaiah is that, through the ages, every time a follower of our Lord has read this passage he or she is quickly inclined to say, “ME TOO LORD!”

A-pplication:

From the time I was a small boy growing up in my Father’s church, I would hear preachers come through and speak on this passage of scripture. When they would finish the story of Isaiah saying, “Here am I Lord. Send me,” I would immediately answer the altar call by saying, “ME TOO LORD! Jesus, I’m ready to go and tell the world about You!” This is the mandate for every believer. When the question goes out on a daily basis from heaven, every one of us needs to be Isaiah on our watch. This isn’t about dropping what you’re doing right now and moving to another country (even though you could), this is all about representing Jesus on the job and in the marketplace. Wherever you are when you hear a minister tell the story of Isaiah answering heaven’s call, or when you’re reading this passage for yourself, there are only three appropriate words. “ME TOO LORD!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m Yours! I have no other real passion but saying, “Me Too Lord!” Show me what’s next. Amen
