Keep Your Courage!

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Acts 27:25

So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me.

O-bservation:

These are the words of St. Paul to all on board as the ship he was riding on appeared as if it would surely sink and death awaited everyone. Instead, God had spoken to Paul and told him that all on board would survive. Paul told the men to, “Keep Your Courage” because he believed it would happen just like the Lord said it would.

A-pplication:

It’s always in the middle of a storm when men and women’s courage is tested to the point of failing them. Surely the ship on which Paul was sailing was in dire distress. Common sense told the average and most skilled sailors on board that the ship would sink. But the Lord had spoken to Paul. That brings me to this question. Do you have a word from the Lord concerning the storm you may be in right now? If you don’t, pray and He will speak to you. I believe God has a clear direction for you even this AM. If, on the other hand, you have heard the Lord speak to you, then I want to say, “Keep Your Courage!” I can’t say whether or not the storm you may be in today will subside, but I have assurance in my heart that you will in time survive and THRIVE! So whatever you do, don’t give up! Instead, “Keep Your Courage!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, I ask for my friend right now who is reading this post. Surround them, oh Lord. Let them feel Your presence right now. May they know today that they will weather the storm. Help them “Keep Their Courage!” Amen
