Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate.
Here the Psalmist writes that our great God has caused His wonders to be remembered. Then he says the Lord is both gracious and compassionate.
My dear Jesus is amazing. It’s amazing that His wonders are too wonderful to forget! No matter how hard you may try, HE is CAUSING you to remember HIS great wonders. It almost seems as though God is showing off. BUT then the writer says, “Oh and by the way, Jesus is also gracious and compassionate.” Wait, what? So HE causes you to remember how great He is, but then He’s gracious about it and He loves you while He’s gracious towards you! How can you find fault with a God like that? I’m amazed by Him. “I Can’t Stop Thinking About HIS Wonders!” When I was lost He found me. When I was weak He made me strong. When I was broke, He provided for me and put me back on my feet. Seriously, how wonderful is that? “I Can’t Stop Thinking About HIS Wonders!”
This AM I am aware that You are the God of Wonder, and You want me to be impressed by my great God. Yet You’re also gracious and You’re compassionate. Thank You my dear Savior, for being consistently gracious and compassionate and simply WONDERFUL! Amen
