He’ll Do It For You Too!

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 138:3

When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me.

O-bservation:

King David of Israel had faced trouble from without and within. He said that when he called upon the Lord. He immediately answered David and emboldened him. This word emboldened means to be given “COURAGEOUS STRENGTH.”

A-pplication:

There’s an old song that says, “Late in the midnight hour, God’s going to turn it around!” If you’re like me, there have been many times when I was troubled on the inside, and trouble was coming from the outside as well. It has been in those times that I have cried to God for help. I can tell you, my friend, that there is great peace and relief when you hand it over to the Lord. He will answer you. You will feel it almost immediately. But at that point, you and I both need what David received from the Lord. He needed COURAGEOUS STRENGTH to continue. The scripture says that God emboldened David. That means that God gave him the COURAGEOUS STRENGTH he needed. God did it for the king, He’s done it for me, and “He’ll Do It For You Too!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, I have to thank You for the many times You have EMBOLDENED ME. In my darkest hours, when Hope seemed lost, I have cried out to You. In turn, You have always answered me and given me COURAGEOUS STRENGTH! Amen
