Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”
This proclamation by the Apostle John speaks of the great and final coming of the Lord when He returns with His heavenly host of warriors. On that day, everyone who has denied Him will be destroyed and only the righteous will be spared. But the intensity of this Word asks, “Who Can Stand Through All Of The Desolation?”
I write this on my birthday, while still living, but expanding now past six decades. As a boy, when I had failed to finish a task on time there was always the thought, “There’s Still Time!” Yet now, at this point, there’s not as much time as there used to be for me. My point is that this scripture occurs, in my humble estimation, after the rapture of the church. At which point all hell breaks loose during the next seven years before the second coming of the Lord at Armageddon. The pain and carnage at that point will be beyond any human’s ability to describe. John, some two thousand years ago, tried to show what it would look like. Certainly none of us want to be around for such a time as this. Yes, we do believe that people will come through the tribulation following Jesus. But instead of risking it, why not let all your friends know it’s time to follow Jesus NOW! Because thankfully “There’s Still Time!”
Thank You this AM that after two thousand years of historical promises your worldwide promise of desolation against wickedness is still holding. Thank You that my friend and their friends have the assurance of this moment that “There’s Still Time” to follow Jesus. Amen
