Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Genesis 30:27

But Laban said to him, “If I have found favor in your eyes, please stay. I have learned by divination that the Lord has blessed me because of you.”

O-bservation:

Jacob had worked fourteen years for his father-in-law, Laban. He was done, and wanted to be released. But Laban asked him to reconsider because Laban had discovered that he had been blessed and had prospered because of Jacob.

A-pplication:

When you are first of all a SERVANT of the most high God, everywhere you go people will be blessed because of you if they embrace you. You may not always recognize the blessing you have been, and may even want to be free of a certain responsibility. However, Jacob decided to stay, and in the ensuing years he became very wealthy before he left his father-in-law. Perhaps you too should reconsider this AM. Maybe you have seen the task you’re presently involved in as a major chore. In fact, you have been a blessing to those around you. When you decide to “Be The Blessing,” eventually you will leave blessed and prospered yourself.

Dear Jesus,

I’ve decided to just stay for a while and “Be The Blessing.” Amen
