INCOMPREHENSIBLE
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 147:4 He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.O-bservation:
The Psalmist, in trying to describe the greatness of The Almighty, says of Him, “He is the one who decided how many stars there would be and He calls the STARS by their proper name.” Of course it was God who named them!A-pplication:
The God who made the stars and gave them a name is the same God who formed you and me from the dust of the earth. Astronomers tell us that there are about 10 billion galaxies in the observable universe! It is believed that there are around 100 billion stars in each galaxy, which means we're looking at a Billion Trillion stars in the observable universe!!! That's "Incomprehensible" to little folks like us. What does that make our God? You guessed it! He's "Incomprehensible!" However, He tells us if we call on Him He will answer US (Jer. 33:3). That's right, He'll answer US! That's "Incomprehensible." It's beyond understanding that we can understand our Heavenly Father. It's not for us to understand, but to know that He loves us and has time to talk with us. Think about it today, the One who made a Billion Trillion stars and named them, and calls them by name, made You too and knows Your name! "INCOMPREHENSIBLE!"P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, I'm AMAZED this AM. When I think of Your greatness, I'm AMAZED that You have time for me and really want to talk with me. It's Just "Incomprehensible!" Amen

Start With Tears, End With Joy
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 126:5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.O-bservation:
The Psalmist spoke from personal experience anointed by the Holy Spirit. Through the years, he had learned that whenever he experienced brokenness of any kind, if he gave it to the Lord he would reap with exceeding joy. Here he says "Start With Tears, End With Joy."A-pplication:
Sowing has to do with planting. When you plant a seed you expect a harvest. Some people waste their sorrows. They make it all about them. It's as if they say, "I've been hurt and I'm all that matters." But sowing tears has a purpose to it. Prayer is involved. When I sow with tears I'm praying those tears into God's soil. Those tears become seeds that are crushed and in time germinate and produce a harvest. The harvest according to scripture is the opposite of what was sown. The crushed seeds of SORROW produce a glorious harvest of Joyful Songs! So with God's help, turn your sorrow into seeds. "Start With Tears, End With Joy!"P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, With Your help this AM, I'm going to quit making my sorrow about me. Instead I'll turn my tears into seeds that, in Your time, will produce JOY! Amen

Perspective
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Luke 13:30 Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.O-bservation:
Jesus spoke about the next life (the life after this life) often. Each time He spoke, it had to do with our "Perspective" vs. His "Perspective." On this occasion, in Luke 13:30, He said, “Your perspective is that the people you think are winning in the end will lose, and the ones you believe are losers will actually win.”A-pplication:
All of life is about "Perspective." It doesn't matter how attractive you may be to the whole world, if you think you're unattractive it doesn't matter what anyone else tells you. It's your "Perspective." You may be a multi-millionaire who everyone goes to for help, but if you feel like you're one step away from the poor house no one can tell you any different. You will work your fingers to the bone and hoard money. Why? It's your "Perspective." There is one arena where we need to allow someone other than ourselves to speak into our life. The arena of which I speak is ETERNITY. You can have your own opinion or "Perspective" about the next life, but in the end there's only one "Perspective" that matters. His "Perspective" is from a much different vantage point. With The Lord's help, I've determined to be considered last on this side in order to be near the front on the other side. That is my "PERSPECTIVE."P-rayer:
Dear Jesus, This AM, more than ever, I'm living for and moving towards Your "Perspective!" Amen
