Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 83:18
Let them know that you, whose name is the Lord—that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.
O-bservation:
The Psalmist was concerned about all of the enemies of Israel who lived nearby. Eventually there was no other solution but his loving Heavenly Father. It was as if he was saying, “Dad take em out!” You can hear “A Son’s Cry” in his intercession.
A-pplication:
When I was a little boy, I believed my Father could do anything. I even made claims to my friends concerning my Dad that were impossible for him to live up to. But I will tell you this, when I was in trouble and I cried for help there was never a time that my Father failed to answer and work a miracle on my behalf. That’s the view from this son’s perspective. There have been challenges that I have faced that Dad and I both had to appeal to our Heavenly Father. He has also rescued me over an over again. As the Father of four sons, there’s nothing like being able to answer and attend to … “A Son’s Cry.” Please know that the word son represents daughters in this case as well. There is nothing that touches the Father like the “Cry of His Children.” If you’re in need today … “Cry Out To Dad!”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
There are not enough words in my understanding to say Thank You for the many times You have answered my heart’s cry! Thanks Still! Amen
