Always Bring Everything You’ve Got!

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Romans 15:29

I know that when I come to you, I will come in the full measure of the blessing of Christ.

O-bservation:

St. Paul had some other stops he had to make before he would eventually make it to Rome. However, not only did he assure the young church there that in time he would visit them, but that when he did come he would come fully loaded with all the blessing of Christ he had.

A-pplication:

The power of this verse is that St. Paul never did anything half way. Not only was “Full On” passion his pursuit, but everywhere he went he brought the full measure of the Blessing of Christ with him. People are often repelled by the Gospel we preach, by the demeanor in which some Believers deliver the goods. This “Good News” is not bad news, boring news, lazy news, or troubling news. The Gospel indeed is the “GOOD NEWS” of Jesus, the Son of the living God! If passion is our pursuit, then excellence must be our spirit. Paul was saying I’m not sure when I will get to you, but I can tell you this, “When I arrive, I will arrive to deliver everything God Has given me to give you!” The “Good News” Paul was full of was going to save, deliver, and set men and women free of all their cares. When you have witnessed the power of the Good News, there’s no other way to approach people than to … “Always Bring Everything You’ve Got!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m thankful this AM that even though I’m not endowed with the wealth of this world, I’m always fully loaded with all the blessing of Christ. I ask that as I go forward today, You would help me deliver it not only with excellence, but with passion. Amen
