You Can Trust THE ROCK

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Deuteronomy 32:4

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

O-bservation:

This passage is part of what is known as “The Song Of Moses.” Here he speaks of our great God. Moses said, “He is the ROCK, His works are perfect, the way He operates is fair, He is FAITHFUL and does No Wrong, consequently, You Can Trust THE ROCK!”

A-pplication:

Let’s compare “Our ROCK” to folks today. Do you have anyone in your life who you would refer to as “The ROCK?” By Rock I mean that they are Perfect, Fair, Faithful, and have Never Done Wrong? Like me, you probably said “NO!” It’s not that we don’t have other close friends and family who at different times have been like a Rock to us in our life, but certainly no one matches the qualifications that our great God manifests at all times. Yet how many times do we blame Him when something goes sideways? Remember, He isn’t just our Savior and Healer and Deliverer, He is The King of everything in heaven and earth ,including people. We are His earthly managers until He comes for us. We are called to run stuff for Him. When things go wrong, instead of blaming Him we are to take responsibility for the wrong and ask Him for help. You are justified in asking for help because, “You Can Trust THE ROCK!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

Thank You this AM that You are Perfect, Fair, Faithful, and You’ve never, ever done Wrong. Truly You are my ROCK! Amen
