Who Can Compare?
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Psalm 148:13
Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
O-bservation:
The Psalmist wrote this directive in total honor to our great and mighty Lord and Savior. The writer acknowledged that the Lord’s name alone is exalted and His splendor is above the earth and even farther beyond the heavens.
A-pplication:
Can you imagine the greatness of our blessed Lord? I certainly can’t and can only try and come up with even more superlatives than the Psalmist used to try and describe Him. Try and imagine with me a God who would stoop to we lowly citizens of earth to love and seek relationship with us. How is that even possible? Certainly the fact that He gave each and every one of us a will indicates that He wants real love to be the plan. It’s our decision if we should come into relationship with Jesus. Yet more reject the Lord than accept Him. I think that’s because not everyone believes in this wonderful Lord and Savior we worship. Yet the question is, “Who Can Compare?” If not Jesus, then who? He truly is worthy. He did come down and take the flesh of humans on Himself. He did face temptation of every description without yielding to the devil’s lies. Yes He was crucified for our sins, but He rose again and conquered death, hell, and the grave. I’ll choose to serve Jesus because it’s the way of Love. Besides, when it comes to Jesus “Who Can Compare?”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I’m the first to confess this AM that No One compares with You my Lord. I choose You again today and every day. Amen
