Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the Lord is to be praised.
The Psalmist said, “While You’re Awake,” don’t stop praising the Lord. From the rising of the sun, till the sun sets is a good time to praise the creator of heaven and earth continually.
When we live in a state of continual praise, we don’t have time to worry and fret. Seriously, think about that. Worry stems from what I didn’t do yesterday and, consequently, what I now have to face in the near future. Praise keeps us focused on the issues at hand. Praise helps us center our emotions. Praise reminds us who is fueling our efforts. Praise energizes our inner self. Praise denies the enemy his chance to get a word in. Praise lifts our spirit. Praise points us to the only ONE who can give us peace in the midst of the storm. It’s obvious that David didn’t always praise the Lord during his waking hours because we so often read of how he’d be up in the middle of the night weeping on his bed. When you can’t sleep, quite often it has to do with worry. Sunup to sundown usually signifies one’s waking hours. Make sure to praise the Lord, “While You’re Awake.”
I’ll get an early start this AM. Once again, I want to start the day off right, “PRAISING YOU!” Amen
