The Silence Of The Wolves
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Luke 20:26
They were unable to trap him in what he had said there in public. And astonished by his answer, they became silent.
O-bservation:
Some of the religious leaders had tried to trap Jesus in something He said, but they were unable to do so. He had a better answer for every question they posed and so they became silent.
A-pplication:
First of all, since they were unable to buy the fact that Jesus was God, they were always surprised when He gave answers that only God could have thought up. Time and time again, throughout the four Gospels, Jesus’ wisdom baffled His opponents. Obviously they were out to silence Him, and eventually they did by their false accusations so that crucifixion happened in time. When they finally did kill Him, it wasn’t for long because He resurrected from the grave. Nothing they could do philosophically or by force could silence the Lamb of God. Instead, our great God did to them what they had tried to do to Him. His victory brought about, “The Silence Of The Wolves.”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
As your servant here on earth, I know the enemy would love to silence my witness. Please give me the wisdom again today to “Silence The Wolves” around me. Amen

We must give honor to whom honor is due and be thankful for the shepherds God has placed in our lives. We must be like Aaron and Hur were with Moses and stand on each side of our leaders undergirding them so they do not grow weary.
