Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

2 Corinthians 12:11

I have made a fool of myself, but you drove me to it. I ought to have been commended by you, for I am not in the least inferior to the “super-apostles,” even though I am nothing.

Here Paul, the “church planter,” laid his loving daddy role aside for a minute and took on the mantle of an authoritative father. He said, “You drove me to make a fool of myself trying to care for your needs. All along you had your eyes on some “SUPER-APOSTLES,” while I myself am not in the least bit inferior to them!

If powerful men and women of God don’t stop what they’re doing and plant churches and care for the churches they plant, there’s nowhere for these modern day “SUPER-APOSTLES” to preach and blow people away with their super-spiritual abilities. Never forget, there was a “Humble-Apostle” in every nook and cranny of the land that paid the price to plant the work! St. Paul, from whom we receive the foundational teachings of the work and ways of the local church, was “out of his mind” with holy anger as he saw what was going on in the church that he had planted at Corinth. From this point on in 2 Corinthians, it’s warning after warning from Paul the “HUMBLE-APOSTLE.” Perhaps it’s time for real Apostles today to stand up again and warn the church of “SUPER-APOSTLES.”

Dear Jesus,

I’m no Super-Apostle, and I’m no Humble-Apostle either. I’m battling myself every day. Without You I am nothing. Help me Lord. I’m Yours! Amen
