Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
I rise before dawn and cry for help; I have put my hope in your word.
The Psalmist wasn’t bragging, he was simply stating how his life goes. He said, “I get up before the sun comes up and I first of all CRY TO GOD FOR HELP!” He said this because he had totally put all of his hope in God’s word.
What do you do the first thing each morning? I ask that, because I’m not hitting this mark either. But I can tell you this, the times that I do rise before the sun comes up and cry out to God for help, He always hears me and He always helps! I can say that unequivocally. You’re probably thinking, “Well Rich, why don’t you do that every day?” Well, you see, there are some days I don’t do this because I don’t think I need any help. That’s where I’m wrong, and that’s where a lot of folks are wrong. We are living in a fallen, jacked-up world. Every one of us who call ourselves “Follower’s of Jesus” must make up our minds that every day we will cry out to Jesus for HELP! We do it because all of our hope must be in God’s word. I’m begging you not to argue this point today. “Please Just Do This!”
Here I am again this AM, and I am crying out to You for HELP! All of my hope is in Your WORD! Amen
