Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
Hasten, O God, to save me; come quickly, Lord, to help me.
So many times in the book of Psalms King David is beyond himself with panic. He feels the enemy pushing in, in whatever fashion, and before ever turning to anyone or anything else he always seems to cry to the Lord, “Please, HURRY!”
Have you ever been there? There, is that place of panic that David often had visit him. Certainly most of the time I’m sure King David was facing another countries war machine and he may have felt outnumbered, but other times it was just old temptations perhaps. Whatever the foe was, it bothered the King and made him feel weak. Maybe that has happened to you. Old habits, old relationships, and old memories can make a man or woman of God panic or feel weak. I get it. I’ve been there many times. Pray with me today, “Oh Lord, ‘Please HURRY!”
You know my situation this AM … I’ll say it again, “Please HURRY!” Amen
