People ALWAYS See Your Good Deeds

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

Ruth 2:11

Boaz replied, “I’ve been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband—how you left your father and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know before.”

Ruth was a Moabite woman who married a Jewish young man, the son of a woman named Naomi. In time the young man died, and instead of remaining in Moab territory she returned home to Israel with her mother-in-law Naomi. Boaz a wealthy Jewish land owner had been told what this foreign girl had done, and he let her know. Because of her kindness to her mother-in-law, Boaz, in time, fell in love with and married Ruth.

Here’s the truth, “People ALWAYS See Your Good Deeds.” No matter how many times you may feel like you’re alone, or you have little hope for the future, or folks have let you down, “People ALWAYS See Your Good Deeds.” Your personal service in other people’s lives, be it little or great, will in time open doors for you that you could never have forced open on your own. Ruth being kind to Naomi GOT noticed. That in turn led to Boaz befriending her, and in time marrying her, and in time she became one of Jesus Christ’s foremothers. You can’t make these things up. It happened because of her good Deeds and service to ONE woman.

Dear Jesus,

Help me today to open the door for someone who feels locked out and all alone. Amen
