Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
I assure you before God that what I am writing you is no lie.
This verse follows a brief historical autobiography of St. Paul by St. Paul. He starts in verse 11 by saying that the gospel he preaches has not originated from human authority. In other words, what he was about to tell them was straight out of heaven. His testimony was so alarming that he had to say to the people of Galatia that what he was telling them was, “No Lie!”
When I have the privilege of traveling and preaching away from my pulpit here in Miami, I’m oftentimes blessed to give my personal testimony. My testimony is so remarkable that sometimes I feel like I should say what Paul says here, that my testimony is “No Lie!” The price that Jesus paid for the redemption of our eternal souls demands a response in the way of a personal testimony once we are saved. Never should any “Follower Of Jesus” be ashamed of what the Lord has done in their lives. In the final book of the Bible (The Revelation), the Apostle John writes, “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony” (Rev. 12:11a) when speaking of the saints who had overcome the enemy. What worked long ago still works today. And what I’m saying is, “No Lie!”
Thank You for the truth that has set me free. I never have to lie about what You’ve done for me, but it certainly sounds unbelievable! Amen
